Hawaii Holidays

We just got back from an amazing trip to Hawaii. The first week of the our trip we stayed on the Big Island with my family. Then we headed over to Oahu for a few days with Holly to top our Hawaiian vacation off. Here are a few highlights from our trip.

The first couple days that we were home it snowed non stop. I was not impressed and I am still trying to convince Josh that we should move to Hawaii. I don't think he is falling for it. Oh well, my mom informed us all we needed to go home so we could go back. I guess I will hold onto that for now.

Happy Veterans Day

We are very thankful for all of those who serve our country. Especially thinking of Trese's dad (isn't he the cutest) and grandpa today. Happy Veterans Day.

On a side note we now have equal number posts on this blog as we do on our house blog. I think that means we should get to work! Actually, we have been making some progress just not very many pictures. I will have to catch up on that soon.

Halloween

Justin and Pam hosted a little get together on Halloween. We loved spending the evening with our friends and their little ones. Branson dressed up as a skeleton in honor of Uncle Ben's birthday. We did not get any pictures of him, but you can browse through our blog and see pictures taken of him earlier in his "outfit."

We loved the excuse to get Andrew, Leah and Taya back to our place. Times have changed since we were in college together, now Josh and Andrew are pushing our kids in strollers.
Dakota the fairy

Taya was the cutest pink spider ever!

It was so nice of Taya to share her cupcake with Dakota

Catching up

Josh had a coaching clinic at SeaTac a couple weekends ago, which worked out perfectly so Branson and I could go spend the weekend at my mom and dad's. We had a wonderful weekend with my family, but missed Auntie Holly and Uncle Ben. The highlight of the weekend was celebrating Meredith and Mark's new marriage.

Another picture of our little guy in one of my favorite shirts courtesy of Uncle Ben and Auntie Bethany.

As you can tell Branson is not lacking for attention.

Branson's first snow

My sisters in Minnesota have been trying to get sympathy from me because it is only October and freezing cold and snowing back there. Well, Tuesday it snowed in Waterville. I told them they have to stop feeling sorry for themselves now.

Here is Branson bundled up ready for our trip to town.

He loved watching the snow fall. I am sure he is going to be a snow lover like his daddy. As I was busy thinking about how it was too early for this much snow, Josh came bursting through the door after work sing Christmas Carols

Next week Branson and I are off on our next adventure. We will be driving to MN with my mom and Grandma Gracie. We hope the snow is gone by the time we get there!

Branson's "Outfit"

About a month ago I got a text from Bethany that said: Ben and I got Branson an "Outfit." I sent a text back asking why outfit was in quotation marks. The response I got from her was that she thinks technically it is a Halloween costume, but since they couldn't find the right size for him to wear on Halloween he gets an outfit.

The lucky thing is that they found an "outfit" in his current size, so now he can enjoy it even longer and wear it on Halloween.

We think he looks adorable in his "outfit".

One Month

Branson turned one month old last Friday. It took me that long to take him to get some pictures taken. We are thankful that Auntie Pam is a photographer, because otherwise we might never get any done. Here is a sneak peak.

We are having so much fun with Branson these days. He is a happy little guy, which makes his mommy and daddy happy. Most of the time that he is awake he is laughing and smiling. He is even happy when he is sleeping, we know this because every so often he lets out a little chuckle to tell us.

Congratulations Stephen and Jenny

Saturday we went to help celebrate the new marriage of Stephen and Jenny. They tied the knot at the home of the bride's parent's outside of Ellensburg, the setting was amazing.
Branson is becoming a pro at attending weddings. This was the second wedding of his life and he gets to go to another in less than two weeks. We can't wait to celebrate with Mark and Meredith.
Josh really enjoyed the band. Here are the newlyweds with some of the kids at the wedding and the band Countrified.
