Multi-tasking

Last weekend we headed west again. I had a shower for Bethany and class in Seattle. Josh used the time to put some miles on his bike in preparation for the STP. We also got to spend a little bit of time with Jason who was in town for an optometry conference. I put the bride to work.

On the way home we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls. We drive by it so often we finally made the time to stop and check it out. We are so glad we did. Josh was mostly interested in how they use the energy from the falls.

Fun in the Sun

Holly spent last week with us and we spent a lot of the time outside enjoying the sunshine. We decided to take advantage of some of the many outdoor activities in North Central Washington. Below are a few pictures from a hike that we did up to Saddle Rock. The view was amazing.

Riding Bikes

We had plans for Holly to come home with us for the week after Kate's graduation. While we were over in Seattle we convinced Forrest and Kate to head over the mountains with us too. Josh, Forrest, Kate and Holly are getting ready for the STP in July, so we decided to go on a bike ride while they were here. Josh found a ride that went from Wenatchee to Cashmere down some back roads and along the river. We are so glad that the sun has finally decided to come out in North Central Washington and hope it is here to stay for awhile. The STP riders.
