The summer sunshine is here and we are soaking it up, most of our days are spent outside and we are loving it.
On The Fourth of July Sarah and Joel braved the freezing Columbia River for some tubing.
Most of us just lounged and let our toes get wet.
Daddy had to work, but he did get to join as at a super fun party that night.
Quinnie is a swim lesson drop out. She loves the water, but hated swimming lessons. We want her to continue to love the water, so when one of us took B to swimming lessons the other took Quinn to swim at our town pool
We got to have a friend of Branson's from school here with us for a few days while his normal childcare provider was out of town. The boys had a great time and it was actually easier on me having someone here for B to play with.
We've spent a lot of time on the water thanks to Jason and Sue's new boat.
Even when the weather isn't the greatest there are no complaints with this view
With these snuggles
Or these friends.
Playdates with Ellie and Bella are a favorite activity too.
One night after Branson went to bed Quinnie found his blue blankie and brought it to him. While wearing her wonder woman crown.
Quinnie was having a rough morning. I went to shower and this is what I came out to find.
Branson loves going to Costco. His favorite part is getting the reciept after checking out and handing it to the person at the door. It never fails that he gets a smiley face and it makes his day.
Daddy was gone last week for work, Quinnie had a hard time settling down without him involved in her night time routine. After one particularly long battle I had to snap this picture to remind me how sweet she really is.
Lately it seems if Daddy isn't working he is playing guitar.
We tagged along to this gig.
Branson could care less about the band, when there is this to play in. Of course I hadn't brought him a change of close, but a borrowed shirt from Uncle Joel proved to be fine.
The kids and I are taking full advantage of the nice weather and the area we live in. Good thing Daddy is working so hard, since it allows us to go play.
It was fun having Dakota come along with us on one adventure
I might have bribed them with milk shakes...
Josh and Joel did the Chelanman olympic distance triathlon. And the only picture I got of Josh is this blurry one. Must be because he was going so fast :)
Papa and Grandma from Tenino came to help with the kids so that I could run in the Chelanman and I suckered them into staying a week. It is like a vacation with them here to cook, clean, do yard work and entertain the kids.
